“We started coming here when our daughter was in grad school 13 years ago! It’s a hidden gem! Just love the pool and comfy chairs outside. The lawns are manicured and the flowering trees are beautiful. It’s quiet and rooms are impeccable. Housekeeping staff issue friendly service, too. They always seem to update something in the room. Beds are comfy with assortment of pillows. Breakfast includes more choices than last year. The Country Inn always feels so welcoming. We love to come back every year.” – Priscilla
“I have stayed at this hotel many times since the mid 80’s and have seen the remodels along the way. But this time, it’s been years. I was very impressed with what they have done with the hotel. The outdoor pool was very clean, furniture in excellent condition, very comfortable and laid out with a beach towel on lounge chairs so you don’t need to check them out or use towels from the room. The room was comfortable, well furnished and comparable to other 4 and 5 star hotels that cost me 2 or 3 times as much per night. The bathroom, bed linens and comforter were impeccably clean and neat as was the rest of the room. Wifi, HBO movie, cookies and news paper at check-in free. “Our two night stay at Country Inn Motel was great. Our “room” was three rooms including a separate kitchen with full size appliances, the bathroom with shower and the bedroom. There was plenty of room for the two of us. The landscape was pretty. Parking is easy and free. The pool area is well kept with plenty of seating, some shade and pool towels. A continental breakfast during the week is served by the pool.”
“We had a lovely stay. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Centrally located to all Silicon Valley areas including: Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, and Stanford. Very easy to get to/from San Jose Airport. Management was very pleasant to work with. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast options in the lobby that we ate on the outdoor patio. “Right from the moment we arrived, we loved this place. It was easy to get to, the reception staff were exceptionally friendly, and the cookies were a nice treat. The room itself was comfortable and cute, especially the little kitchen – we only stayed one night so we didn’t need it, but it’s great to have for a longer stay. Walking distance (just a few blocks) to shops and restaurants and a super easy Lyft ride to Shoreline.” – Milinda
“Everything was excellent, a most pleasant stay. Most pleasant staff. Easy to relax there. I arrived at 1 am. Staff was available to let me into my room, even though “check-in” ends at 11 pm. I feel like staff takes pride in serving the guests, always friendly. Stanford is a quick 10-minute drive away (weekend traffic). The motel is in a nice area. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. The bed was very good. Everything was very clean. Room and motel are well kept up. I was on the 1st floor, near the pool, outside of the room was quiet. Had a kitchen area which was stocked w basic eating and cooking utensils. I will certainly return.”
